Dear Maken Movies.com, Hi! My name is Kevin Martin and I am writing about something that I feel that we need to do to preserve our history: Hollywood needs to make a movie about George Washington during the Revolutionary War. Over the decades Hollywood has made several movies about national heroes: 1. In 1961 Charlton Heston played the Spanish national hero Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar in EL CID 2. In 1995 Mel Gibson played the Scottish national hero William Wallace in BRAVEHEART 3. In 1999 Milla Jovovich played the French national heroine Joan of Arc in THE MESSENGER So far the people of Spain, Scotland, and France have all had American/Hollywood movies made about their national hero, but we Americans still have not had a movie made about our own national hero. I am not saying that people like Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar, William Wallace, and Joan of Arc did not deserve their own movie, they were true patriots and definitely did. Washington was just as much a patriot as they were and he also deserves his own movie. Why Hollywood has not already made a movie about him is totally beyond me. It is time that we honored our national hero with his own film. Thank You, Kevin Martin

Dear MakenMovies.com, Hi! My name is Kevin Martin and I have an idea for a potential great movie-there needs to be a war epic film about Napoleon Bonaparte. Ever since Braveheart there have been several great war films such as Saving Private Ryan, The Patriot, and We Were Soldiers. Yet there has still been no Napoleon movie and I do not know why. This was time of great land and sea battle and I think there could be several great films about this time period made. Given that Napoleon fought for twenty years there made need to be several different films made, maybe one about the Peninsular War-another about his early years or something like that.

The captain subsequently killed in the barrage. After being dragged to a shell crater by his close friend and while a medic is working to save his life his is reminiscing over past events with his friend by his side, the flashbacks take us from basic training where we meet one of three platoon captains and the main character along with his friend is introduced to Army life, then time in England where more training and preperation take place and we also get a look at the US soldiers experiences in wartime England, crossing the English channel where the main character/ second character and the platoon captain share their thought on what they wish to do when they return home from the war and the eventual beach assault from the approach on the landing craft, the struggle upto the seawall and the eventual rise up the bluff to where our main character is wounded and returns to England on a ship and meets a nurse named Mary Atherton. The story then jumps forward to where Ron returns to Europe and takes part in the breakout of Normandy, the battle of Aachen, the battle of the Bulge where a second platoon captain is killed, and the liberation of Czechoslovakia where he's friend dies. Ron then returns to England and is married to Mary at the end of the war where he becomes the father of 3 children. The story then jumps forward 50 years and see's Ron standing by his friends grave in Europe where we learn that Ron has been psychologically scarred from the war and has struggled to lead a normal life over the years. Ron then walks away from the grave and dies in Mary's arms at home in England with his family by his side. I have a story drafted for you to read so that if anyone wants to gain an understanding of my idea, this would be a more convient way. thanks for your vote
