Town Ball is a documentary covering the creation and growth of a ficticious new audience-based sport called TownBall. Originally conceived as a marketing event promotion in which two teams try and push a giant ball across a downtown park, the new sport rapidly catches on and becomes a media frenzy, exploded by social networking. The documentary covers the sport from the viewpoint of the organizers, participants and TV commentators, in an ironic and humorous fashion. The hype and the marketing of TownBall make it into a cultural phenomenon. Soon, TownBall is bigger than the NFL, as millions of people join in and participate in TownBall matches between rival cities, neighborhoods and even countries.
But there is also a dark side to the sport. Violence soon pervades the sport, as gangs, hooligans and others begin to battle police and each other at every event. People begin to be injured and killed. The sport is in crisis. The public and authorities turn against the sport and try and shut it down. Townball becomes an official Olympic sport and there are professional players. The documentary lampoons professional sports (particularly soccer) and uses humour and irony when covering all participants: the players, the gangs, the fans, the marketing people, the cops, politicians and eveyone else caught up in the biggest, newest, craziest sport in history.
A (street baller) point guard phenom( who has the most consistent jump shot, and unspoken b ball skills, learns its about team work) becomes the final piece in a NBA's teams(Charlotte Bob cats) quest at a worlds title, but once the point guards team starts to win, the point guard quickly learns the lesson between the meaning of friends, and users. After losing everyone of their season games to their true rival (Okc thunder), the phenom point guard and his team along with their coach starts to see eye to eye and quickly becomes a elite team in the second half of the Nba season and meets (Okc) in the NBA finals to settle the score once in for all. Can the phenom and his team put the pieces together to finally take the worlds title, or will the phenom and his team learn another lesson(the word defeat) when it comes down to playing on the greatest stage in the history of the NBA(Welcome to the show).

It is a nice summer day in Salida, Colorado. It is a Monday afternoon and the Smith’s family loads the moving track to move to Twin Falls, Idaho and Nathan Smith moves when he was in middle school at salida middle school few months later the smiths get to their new house in twin falls, Idaho it was Friday morning Nathan helps his dad to unload the moving track and Rachel goes to different schools and finds twin falls Christian school Rachel smith talks to the principal of the school and gets information about the school the principal of the school ask Rachel can you being your son in that he can look around the school the next day Rachel beings her son to see the principal of the school Nathan ask the principal of the school if they got a basketball team and the principal says yes and are you a player and Nathan says yes I was a shooting guard at my old school then let me call James Thompson to my office he is the middle school’s basketball coach Rachel ask Nathan do you want to go to his school and Nathan Smith says yes and the principal said I will see you Monday. It is Monday morning and Nathan wakes up to go to his new school and Rachel says to her son the school bus is here than Nathan says to his self I better being my basketball clothes than Nathan goes to the bus and gets in the bus he sets by his self but a student got up and sets by him and ask him are you the new student and Nathan says yes what is your name my name is Jason Robinson and I will be your first friend they get to the school and Nathan Smith walks in his new school than the principal calls Nathan Smith to his office and lets him know that the basketball try-outs are tonight after school later that day Nathan goes to the school’s field house where the try-outs are and James Thompson sees Nathan walk in the field house and James T. shows Nathan where the locker-room is you call change in here and when you are ready you can come out Nathan is nervous because he is new at this new school Nathan comes out and practice with his new team when the practice is over Nathan calls his mom to come get him at the school while his was outside of the school Jason Robinson sees Nathan and ask him if he is doing anything on Wednesday night and Nathan says I have basketball practice and Nathan ask Jason why I am just asking if you want to go to youth group with me and Nathan ask Jason when does youth group start and he said about 7pm and Nathan says to Jason my basketball practice doesn’t get over by 6:30 and Jason tells Nathan my parents can pick you up after your practice is over and Nathan ask his mother if that is ok and Rachael says that is ok and will your parents take Nathan home and Jason says yes it is Wednesday and the friends are having lunch in the lunchroom together at school it is after school and Nathan goes to his practice after his practice Jason’s parents takes Nathan to their sons youth group moving on with the story the basketball team makes it to the playoffs and the team makes it to the championship game in California and the Twin Falls Christian Academy High School wins the championship game 67 – 58 and the team goes back to their school the next day the team was a victory party at the school doing the party the basketball coach gives Nathan the most valuable player trophy for playing so hard at the championship game in California. It has been one year since the basketball team won the championship. it is Monday morning Jason smith takes his wife to the doctor’s office to get her checkup and the doctor sees something on her arm and tells Jason to take Rachael to the hospital to get a x-ray of her arm the x-ray shows that she was cancer and the doctor tells Jason the bad news and your wife was to stay at the hospital to do test on her cancer later that day the doctors told Jason smith that the cancer got to her heart and the doctor ask Jason where is your son he is at school said Jason smith and Jason ask why she was one week to live Jason calls his son’s school to see if Nathan can miss school this week and next week the principal of the school answers the phone and ask who is this. This is Nathan’s dad can my son get out of school his mom was cancer and was one week to live and the principal says yes and take your time then the principal calls Nathan smith to his office Nathan gets to the principal’s office I have bad news for you Nathan your mom was cancer and Nathan cry’s and the principal call his basketball coach to come to his office and the principal ask the coach can you take Nathan to the hospital and the coach says sure he is my favorite player they get there to see his dad outside of the hospital and his dad tells his son’s coach thank you for being my son to the hospital and the coach says anytime than both of them get to the room where his mom is they went into her room and his mom wakes up and sees her son Nathan smith and tells her son don’t cry and the doctors come into the room and says hi to Nathan who won the championship game in California and one of the doctors says you can take your son home if you want and Jason ask his son if he wants to go home and Nathan says yes. It is one week later and one of the doctor went to Rachel’s and tells to wake her up but she won’t wake up and wakes up Jason to tell him the bad news and the doctor ask Jason where is your son he is at home watching television Jason calls his son at home Nathan answers the phone and ask his dad what is wrong Rachel is gone to go to heaven to be with God and Nathan cry’s and goes to his friend’s house Nathan gets to the front door and knocks the door than jean Robinson answers the door and finds Nathan crying and ask Nathan what is wrong and Nathan says my mom died from cancer and ask jean is your son home, jean says he is in his room playing his Xbox 630 may I go see him and she said sure you can the next day Nathan looks out side of the house to see his dad with a moving track Nathan goes outside of the house to ask his dad what is up with the moving track and his dad says we have to move then Nathan ask his dad where are we moving we are moving back to Colorado and Nathan ask what town in Colorado are we moving to and his dad says we are moving where your mother was born the town is Aurora, Colorado her family is there Nathan ask his dad can I say bye to my new friend and his dad says sure let me take a picture of your two and Nathan ask his dad can we stop by my coaches house to say bye to him and his dad says sure the smiths get to the coaches house and knocks on the door and James T. answers the door and says hello to his favorite basketball player and ask why are your guys here today and Nathan tells his coach that my mom dead some cancer and we have to move back to Colorado and James t. says I have something for you the coach goes to his office to get the champions ring to give to Nathan the coach ask the Smith family if they are going to move back here and his dad says after we take care of things in Colorado than we will move back here and Nathan is too happy by the news and James Thompson says good bye and sees the smiths drive away from his house.
