Lawston High is about a senior in high school named Kyle. Kyle has just moved to the town of Lawston, Colorado. Kyle is really good at baseball and Lawston High is well known for their baseball team. Once Kyle hears that the team is looking for a third baseman, he tries out for the team and gets the spot. This year the team has two very big problems. The first problem is that there are no real leaders on the team. The second critical problem is that all of the players have an “I” attitude. The Lawston High baseball team is one of the best teams around. Now, the baseball team starts having trouble throughout the season. With all the drama of high school, a team full of bad attitudes, and pressure from the town to win every game, will the players be able to pull it together and redeem themselves before it’s too late?
18 year old Adam Walker is a drifter. He goes from highschool to highschool year after year, walking onto highschool football teams and bringing them State Championships. Adam Walker...is ageless, and invincible. He is "The Starter".
He's been sent by God, to help losing football teams become champions. He is an angel. He is an extremely mysterious person to all those that get to meet him. A private investigator is called to keep an eye on him, but Adam know's he's being watched...and the private investigator begins to understand that this guy isn't human, but is on some kind of a bigger and different mission.
A book is written about the guy at the end of the movie..called "The Starter"...right after he helps the very last highschool football team on his list...he can go back to heaven.
(Along the lines of "Field Of Dreams" and "Angels In The Outfield."..just examples.
My title is not yet down pat and other title suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
My movie script is on a very popular retired professional wrestler named Stone Cold Steve Austin. I want my movie script to show the life of Steve Williams from his days playing high school football to his ending days is professional wrestling. Before Steve Williams became one of the most popular names in sports entertainment he lived the life of a simple guy. From his days playing high school football and attending special events which included professional wrestling for him. Before he became what he is known now Steve was wrestling for an independent wrestling company earning small paychecks and living in his car eating raw potatoes
for every meal of the day. He is one good example of what working hard
can do for a person. His very first major wrestling promotion was with WCW where he and one other person named Brian Pillman were in a tag team together called The Hollywood Blondes. Everything was going good for steve until the owner of WCW split him and Brian up and put them as single performers. Later on in his career with WCW he was told that his character was not much to market with and was later let go from WCW. He then later got a call from another major wrestling promotion called ECW where he was given a second chance. Steve then later on went to WWE where he became one of the most popular wrestlers in the history of professional wrestling. He spoke his mind and did things the way he saw fit with the company which landed him to where he is today. The fans loved him for what he did in the ring along with what he did out of the ring which included great story lines and major marketing sales. Anybody who knows who Stone Cold Steve Austin is knows that this would make a great movie and a great history lesson of his life before,
during, and after professional wrestling. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I am new to this sort of thing and need as much advice as I can get.
“Choices”, Is a movie of uncommon character choices that go against main-stream America’s flow of greed and selfishness. The main character is a young high school football prospect, currently ranked #2 in the country at his position of quarterback. His father has passed, but he has vivid memories of valuable lessons that were engraved into him by his father with love. Lessons such as, “to be the best, you must learn from the best”, “friendship is more valuable than gold”, and to “always be selfless in the face of great gain”. It is from lessons such as these, that form the clear choices to the decisions he must make for himself, his family, and lastly his career. The young man leaves behind his leadership position on his team at his prestigious school, and enrolls into their rival school of the #1 prospect in the country in a poor community. The young man is determined to learn from this leader to become the best at what he does, despite the ridicule and protest of everyone besides his endearing mother. As the school year progresses, the young man learns from the #1 prospect and they become the best of friends, as he shares his life’s lessons, dreams, and eagerness to succeed with his friend. The story progresses with the young men risking both ridicule and their rankings by showing their friendship and new principles by taking turns in every other series of downs on the field during games. They are both ranked #1 and make a statement to the nation that they wish to be enrolled at the same college and both start in the same fashion, or the story can go as far as both insisting to be drafted by the same professional team to share the responsibilities and split the first-round money. These young men place friendship and family before fame and fortune, but are rewarded with much of both, while setting an example of selflessness.
