Dane is a dark skinned 19 years old guy living in California with his rich parents. Dane is rich but money isn´t important for him. He starts dating a girl from his school, but at the end she confesses him that she was only joking and then she rejected him.

At this point Dane decides not to date girls and prefers to concentrate on school. One day his father tells him, they have to relocate to China. On the first day of school in China Dane gets to know Allen. Allen has a girlfriend so he suggests Dane to get a girlfriend too, but Dane is not interested.

Dane and Allen become best friends. After a time he gets to know Suki, a smart cute chinese girl who thinks her boyfriend Liu is her true love. But she is not sure when she meets Dane. From the begining Liu and Dane don´t like each other.

Suki and Liu break up after arguing. Dane and Suki start learning for school together. After a while they start having feelings for each other so they start dating. Dane shows Suki the better side of life and romance that she hasnīt seen before. Suki gets a chance to go to the New York Film Academy in America. Now she has to decide. Does she want to go to America or will she stay in China with Dane Is Suki going to give up her dream?
