Pete Clark is a successful and now wealthy entrepreneur. He's just sold his website for over $4 million. Kate Rosedale is a waitress that lives in a broken down R-V, she makes little to nothing. Pete is lonely, Kate is independent. Both are single.
Pete meets Kate, but Kate isn't into money. You can't buy her affection, maybe go broke for it...but you can't buy it. You just can't! Pete has tried to do everything in his mind, to get to know Kate better and be with Kate. But it's all been done with gifts, and money. It's actually driving Kate further and further away. Pete finally goes broke, and Kate is willing to listen.

Jake is a nice guy, Good looking, smart but he's got many problems on his hands for one he's dying of a disease that will kill him when he reaches the age of 20. Hayden tells Jake she's coming and for him to pick her and payson up at the airport which he does. But Brad finds out and goes to the airport and starts shooting at them. Jake gets them out of the way in time but he's hurt he has a bullet in his leg. Luckily he brought his best mate Kendal and in enough time Jake gets them all out of there. Over the weeks Hayden and Jake for deeper in love with each other and Jake says to her "If your going to be with me, You need to learn to shoot a gun and to be brave enough to kill" Hayden Learns and so does Payson. When Hayden and Jake are out by the beach Brad shoots Jake through the chest. With Jake's last breathe He tells Hayden "I love you". Brad gets away and the police came and the
ambulance it's to late to say Jake he dies in the hospital and Hayden is Heartbroken. Hayden Wants Revenge and so does Kendal they both vow with all their lives that they will kill Brad even if it kills them. Soon enough Payson is shot point blank while getting groceries. Hayden goes even more angry with vengeance. Kendal was shocked and paralyzed when Payson's body was found lifeless. Hayden and Kendal gathered the Jake's Gang. Hayden made a big speech saying "Jake died for me!I would of taken the bullet proudly and i wouldn't feel guilty right now because i would be dead instead of him! I want him to know that I will kill Brad but I can't do it alone I need your help" They all agreed and started training harder than ever. When the time came they would know and it was time.
Dan Grant is a grieving divorce lawyer that hasn't been the same person since 4 years ago. When his wife Sandra filed for divorce and was caught cheating with the pool boy, pizza boy, and even maid.
Dan drinks alot, cries alot, yet still tries to be compassionate when it comes to his work and who he's representing. Even though everyone he's represented hasn't been happy about what they've gotten other then the written certificate. They just yell at Dan but he's already so miserable it doesn't seem to bother him.
In his mind and life it's as love doesn't exist anyways. Outside of work he has isolated himself and seems to live in the past. Always thinking about Sandra. He'll call her up and leave sorrowful and apologetic messages even though he never really did anything wrong.
Sandra just doesn't care and has moved on with her life and tells Dan to leave her alone, etc...She's kind of mean about the whole thing, she don't want to be friends to Dan, speak to him, or see him."Well why not Sandra", Dan cries into the phone. She just says something really rude an hangs up the phone on him.
Sandra is all about herself, Dan is still all about Sandra. Dan can't live his life anymore like this. His shrienk tells him he has an obsessive attitude and view towards Sandra and that he needs to let that go, and take the medicine he's been prescribing which Dan claims makes him feel even worse.
Dan has only cared for one other women in his life, a highschol girl named Cathy. Cathy and him were really good friends in highschool, but then both of them went off to college and haven't talked even once since because Sandra had came into the picture.
When they meet again Dan instantaniously begins to feel better. Like their's hope, and like he can finally get over Sandra.
Cathy isn't being 100% honest with Dan when they re-unite and she is actually married to a dick. A guy that use to beat Dan up in highschool, a guy named Greg Flowers. Greg was a jock and a bully, and somehow managed his way into Cathy's life. Dan ends up finding out that Greg is actually cheating on Cathy..with...his ex-wife Sandra.
Cathy wants a divorce, and Dan stands up to lay the smack down on both their ex's in court..They win, fall in love, get married...etc..
