A man named Jeff has a party on a cruise ship but falls off during a freak storm, and hits his head on a rock and wakes up a day later on an island out in the middle of the ocean. After days of searching the island he discovers a cave to stay the night, becoming familiar with the most of the island, he decides to go to the center of the island. It takes a day and a half to get to the center, when he hears a noise, he slowly creeps up through the bushes, looks through them to find the most vicious, brutal sight he's ever seen, terrible creatures fighting and killing each other, and self proclaimed vampires patrol the animals. The king "vampire" is an evil man, he leads an army of ruthless killers to kill Jeff. Jeff has to rely on human instinct to fend for his life, he makes weapons to fight for his life, every last breath is used in making sure he lives long enough to get off this terrible island. The vampires are more human than undead, they became desperate for food, killing fellow humans of a pirate ship, using them as food for themselves and their animals, but keeping a young girl prisoner as a slave, Jeff finds it in his heart to rescue the young traumatized girl, and get off this hell hole..
When a small town is hit by a hurricane. They expect the bad. But they didn't suspect "the worst". Apparently a plane was trying to cross the country before the storm hit them. The storm caught them and their plane was torn to pieces, including the biologic warfare (acid) they were trying to send to another country. I took a shower late in the morning after long beauty sleep, like I do every day when I go to college , but there was something odd this date. For some odd reason, I felt that I was been watched by some unknown force, yet I proceed as I normally did. I turned the radio down I couldn’t bare more this feeling, so I peeked by the window and I saw a black sporty looking vehicle coming to my house. I had a chilling sensation that there was something wrong; I kept watching the vehicle while it came closer and close. The person who came out of the vehicle was a very attractive woman, like from a movie with black leather cloth, I couldn’t keep my eyes of her. She looked at the windows from a far and although I thought I was not seen, she kept looking at my window. She later pulled out semi-automatic gun, my admiration for her beauty turned into terror. I was alone at the house my parents were gone to work, I went to the closest phone the line was cut and while I didn’t remember where I put my cell phone. I heard the main door open without any force; my heart was pumping so fast, I tried to think fast, so I went to hide in the kitchen. She entered, passed by and didn’t even notice me she then went down the basement where my room is, while she was going down stairs I went running outside. I went running for help she later notice I was outside, I looked to the vehicle, she left it with the keys so I started the vehicle, she came outside and pointed me with the gun. I pressed down the pedal with such force, I almost run her over, I kept driving, but she stood up and started shooting, I think one of the bullets impacted one of the rear wheels, because I lost control and mashed, it didn’t took me long until I regained my senses, but by then was too late. I asked her, why me? What have I done? For what she answer shocked me the most, it’s for what you will do! I didn’t understand such answered, I begged her to spare me, and I didn’t know what wrong I was going to do, to have such ending. Yet if you think this was not bizarre enough, she stops pointing the weapon to me and kissed me in the lips. She told me we had to move as they were coming, life could not be any more confusing. I followed her, why? I don’t know, but if she had the trouble of doing what she did, and hey she was hot, I cannot take that fact, so I followed her. While we were on the run I asked why were running, what she answered: they know where you live and they know who you are, there must be another way. I didn’t understand much, but nights ago I wished for not an ordinary life and now I’m running with a chick, from don’t know what. We ended in a hangar after running and driving for hours, and when the men in black came she took my hand and the next thing I remember I’m somewhere else, where everything is burned and destroyed and a hellish darkness runs the landscape. I asked where we were? what she answer: is when are we? And the year is 20XX. What does this have to do with me? I asked her, she answered: this is all you’re doing. It’s not possible, is not logical I said what she told then was a part of the story, behind this doings. She told me: we will meet soon in your time, we get in love and we get married. You will become an archaeologist and you will make one of the biggest discoveries of human kind, you will discover the Pandora Urn, your curiosity destroys your future and your love ones…
The story of a young vampire, the struggle to maintain the thirst, and going through the everyday and the deterioration of his strength and control over a seven day period.
Meeting a girl, falling in love, and trying never to hurt her is the ultimate fight within himself. He allows a documentary crew to film him during this seven day period. Sunlight doesn't effect him, garlic will kill him slowly and painfully. The secret he's kept for so long can't hide forever. Will the girl he loves be accepting of him after she knows? how long can he keep the thirst at bay?
When a fresh college graduate can't find a job a down economy he takes a long haul truck driving job out of desperation. He thinks that it will be a good way to pay the bills, while seeing the country and waiting for the job market to improve. As part of his training he has to spend several weeks team driving with a more experienced driver to get a feel for life on the road. When he meets the driver he realizes that he might have made a mistake. The man he is paired with is his opposite in every way. They don't agree on politics, food, music or anything else. Through a series of truck stop situations, and rude shippers they slowly become friends. This is loosely based on a true story.
