A horrific film about a very deadly disease.It starts in the swamps of Georgia.Two men have gone fishing in the swamp.However,when the men see a shape moving nearby,they go to see it.The shape turns out to be a dying dog.After the mutt passes away,they discover it died from a unknown,very deadly disease.Awhile after,a group of teens decide to go a campgrounds near the swamp.Once they get there,they seem to feel uneasy about the town.A man,Ron,warns them about the swamp and the dangers in it.One of the teens,Laura,takes a walk while the others stay at their cabin.Laura then sees the same dog Ron was talking about.When she goes to see if it's dead,the dog springs up and bites Laura.She then runs back to the cabin,her health slowly decreasing.She explains about what happened,and Tammy,her friend,calls a doctor.When the doctor examines her,he states that Laura's disease is unknown to science.The doctor asks how it happened,and Tammy says Laura was bit by a seemingly dead,diseased dog.Glen,one of the boys,believes that the dog was turned into a zombie by the disease.The doctor says that might've happened,but it can't be proven.Tammy and Max go to shoot the dog,but Max is scratched by the zombie dog.Tammy shoots it in the head and takes Max back to the cabin.Once there,they discover that Laura is now a zombie.Max is placed in a isolated room while Glen fights Laura.Glen tries to kill her,but can't bring himself to do it.Laura tricks Glen into kissing her,only to bite him on the shoulder.Glen has now become a zombie.Hannah,a girl who's staying in the cabin next door,shoots two other zombies,who try to attack her.The doctor tells Hannah he found a cure,but it would need a little more time.Hannah,her brother Ronnie,her sister Lila,and the doctor have to hold off the zombies.Laura had jumped out the window and bitten a few people in the nearby cabin.Max bursts through the door,now a infected zombie.Another hoard of zombies come up to the cabin.Tammy aims a gun at Max's head,and blows it clean off.She burns his body and throws it out at the other infected.When Hannah is bitten by Laura,she does not come down with the illness,for she is immune.The doctor says that Hannah's blood can cure the disease.Lila goes to find Tammy,only to be bitten by Glen.As a zombie,Lila tries to attack Hannah.The doctor gets a drop of Hannah's blood and puts it in Lila's mouth for her to drink.Lila gets cured from the disease,making her more frightened than ever.Collecting a few drops of Hannah's blood,the doctor is able to make a antidote.He uses it on Glen and Laura,turning them back to normal.They dose the bullets,all of them,in the antidote,and shoot the zombies.Shooting all of the zombies with the antidote helped,but the people died from shock and exhaustion.The movie ends,showing the disease was cured,and everything went back to normal,only showing one remaining zombie,who gets shot in the head by deer hunters
