A team of two ghost hunters travel to an old jail in ottawa ontario, they decide to do some work with the many ghosts and spirits in the International Hostel (real haunted jail hostel in ottawa) but when they get to deep into the lives of the dead people, they find themselves in a fight for survival against many evil spirits trying to destroy their lives. They are now trapped inside an old jail with their lives in danger!!!
The story is about these College students who decided to take their Spring break, touring Kentucky. They heard of the great sights, people and food, and decided to check it out, and stumbled upon a town that had no known name. It looked like some town in the 1920's.
They happened to get their around the time of a great 'hunt' that these people do every spring. But what these students didn't know, was that they hunt anyone out-of-state, to kill them and collect their souls, to give their town a name, and to unfreeze the time their town is in. Their town is held in time, with no name from the moment they started the town up, locked into a never changing, hell bound state, as well as filling each town-folk with demonic powers, only able to be released for a short time, after killing someone before-hand.
we all know the end of slavery was proclaimed on January 1, 1863 while offically ended when the 13th amendment to the Constitution was ratified by the states in the year 1865, But what if a new form of slavery arose from secret socitys? to train new servents, slaves and sex slaves to work in upper class homes and residences to do there bidding and serve there every need/will by brainwashing, subjecting men and women to animal like condictions breaking them down by ways of sleep patterns, eating, using the bathroom and the fulfillment of other basic human needs untill they completly relie on there master to be a perfect servert changing there attitudes, beliefs and behaviors to what the upper class society expects. Secret trainging camps which have opertated since the late 1800 where they have perfected the art of raising slaves though brutal, crule and un human like conditions until they are fully trained and sold to the highest bidder. What i want to propose is a idea of Hostel meets the Bdsm world which unsuspecting men and women are kidnapped from there everyday lives thrown into these camps where they are subjected to these conditions in a battle of keeping there sanity, facing there will of survival and the hope of seeing the outside world again.
Basically I'm thinking "a live action version of the original movie." You know keep it kid friendly.
Also thinking of a live action version, that is very dark, and twisted. Make it a horror movie. Put it in 3-D, that way scenes like the almost getaway out of the cave of wonders on the magic carpet have a lot more pop. And maybe the genie is very disturbed, and his magic and sense of humor follow in suit.
It's not much, just popped into my head, so any thoughts or criticism is appreciated.
SYNOPSIS.......
England ... 1752.... An elderly woman stares into the fading fire.... Early morning mist shrouds the autumn morning wood lands .... She arises from her seat and grabs her walking stick and makes a slow walk into the woods .... Upon reaching the overgrown cave she pulls out something from beneath her robes and enters the cave. A few hours later she is back sat at the fire ,... She hears the faint gallop of horses approaching her..... 5 men on horseback arrive to see the little old lady mumbling away to her self .... She stares at them as they dismount and she begins laughing to herself.... One of the men yells .."burn the witch.... Burn her....".... They take her back to the village .....
LONDON.. present day..... The police move around the apartment ... Blood splattered on the bed where 2 dead children lie... In the hallway lies the dead mother .... The police officers distraught at the blood strewn murders .... Her husband is unaware of the brutal fate that has happened to his family.....
