A Italian mafia crew of 4 spots an unknown artist with potential, they devise a plan and start to work on it.
The leader of the crew visits the artist at his workplace to meet the artist who is a small gay guy with a pure hart who is a great artist but a bad business man. He is the kind of nice honest and innocent type of gay person that Ewan McGregor plays in the movie "I Love You Phillip Morris".
During his visit the mobster presents himself as a open and nice business man and buys some work, he complements on the artwork and he shows he is really impressed by the genius work the artist has made. In every painting a little figure of Jesus comes back time after time and the businessman asks about it. " It is the Jesus statue which stands in Rio de janeiro Brazil, one day I want to go there and stand on top of it, I have been dreaming about is since ....:( my financial situation does not permit me to go right now.". They talk some more and the businessman offers to promote the artist to the public trough his connections, influence and with his money. The artist really feels a connection to the business man who he feels really understands his work and is very excited by the unbelievable offer which he gladly accepts. A few weeks later the first art gallery is a fact. It is held in a beautiful hotel and presented with the newest standards in design. The elites of society are there to enjoy this night out and to be entertained by the art and overall beauty of the presentation, some want to buy artworks but it is a no sell gallery just to hipe the crowd, and create a demand for future artwork. The art at the gallery is supposedly already owned by rich people from the far corners of the world and was borrowed back from them for the gallery. One couple really falls in love with one peace which remind them of there lost daughter and want it no matter what the price. The business man tells them that it is owed by an oil sheik of Arabia, and that he will see what he can do.
After a few days of waiting the couple receives a phone call that the sheik is willing to negotiate a price. They are invited to do a conference call with the sheik the same day because the painting is due to being shipped back to Arabia the next morning.
They do the conference call and see a sheik who is wearing the classic Arabian white clothing with the black band on his head. He has a translator present and they start to talk about buying the painting. Trough negotiation the price is driven up and the painting sold for 500.000 dollar. The couple is happy the painting can stay with them and is not flown back to Arabia.
The whole conference call was off course fake and devised by the mob crew. One of which was wearing the Arabian clothing, and the other was the translator who with his Italian look was easily transformed into an Arabian looking guy by just adding a beard.
This shows the way the crew works which is not totally unnoticed by the artist who comes to the businessman complaining about the way things have gone, hey is happy with the new found interest in his work but the way it was done does not feel good. He also does not understand why he still can not sell any art pieces and complains why he is not given the money yet for the one sell they made to the rich couple.
The businessman assures the artist that everything will be fine, and that they from now on will do honest business. He gives the artist 1000 dollar cash so he can cover his expenses and tells him he will transfer his cut of the half a million sale as soon as some bank troubles are solved.
A few months later the artist is well known in the art world and there is a high demand for his work which is sold just one peace every somewhat time to keep demand and prices up. The artist is still not given much money which is run trough the businessman who keeps most of it.
When the artist comes to the villa of the business man to talk he starts to complains again about the way he is withheld money and only has to work work work to make as many paintings as he can. He says he wants work less and get some money so he can go to Rio to finally see the Jesus statue with his own eyes. The artist looks at the businessman and is afraid of his reaction.
The businessman who has turned into a dominant man since the first meeting, changes his facial expression from serious into understanding.
He says. " Ok, it is time for the next step" The artist looks at him relieved but questioning " Next step? ok :) " The 3 other maffia members come in the room one of them with a baseball bats and hits him on the face, he is immediately unconscious. The businessman leans forward to check his pulse and says in a calm voice "hit him nice on front of the face it has to look real" The man with the bat hits him another 3 times on the face while saying " You.... annoying..... gayfuck" One word every time he hits. The next day on the news you see the artist is found dead in his car after he hit a tree. Some time later the Businessman organizes a art auction in honor of the dead artist where the prices for his art go up and up in a bidding-frenzy.
PLAN EXECUTED SUCCESSFULLY.
Two best friends from Oceanside highschool got arrested there senior year of highschool and the whole situation made them realize the advantages of being a cop. Before enrolling into the same college, they both decided to major in criminal justice and came up with a master plan with there classmates. They noticed that if they all stick together, they can become cops for the same town and almost own the town for the next generations. One if the students in the class has a father that is a cop, and the student was promised by his father that he would have a job in the same town he works for. This excited the students in the class and made them realized that this can actually work; it just takes hard work and dedication. The professor of the class was all for it and taught his students everything he knows.
As the classmates and professor came closer together, a couple of the students decided to own a house on campus, almost like a frat house, and were able to throw the best parties. There knowledge helped all the parties be successful because the house is all wired up with cameras and gadgets and they also know where the cops on campus are at all times. Fighting, drugs, and drinking were not a problem for these criminal justice majors. They were so smart about everything that they can work there way around trouble. Knowing there rights, it was very hard for the school to ever get them in trouble.
As years went on, the soon to be cops finally graduated and found a town on Long Island that they could all become partners and work together for. After months of celebration and crime stopping, something always goes wrong. Things that happen in college always seem to come back and haunt you. The school found some videos from the parties they had and one thing led to another. A dead body was also found dug underground in the basement of the frat house they owned. This body went missing around the 2nd year they owned the house. A witness from this crime set the cops up after 4 years of the murder for revenge. The witness was part of a gang that the cops have locked up weeks after they became certified cops.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HVHRyD7DFA
The game begins with Thomas "Tommy" Angelo entering a bar to speak to police Det. Norman. After announcing that he wants to be in the Witness Protection Program, Tommy proceeds to tell the story of how he got involved with a crime family headed by Ennio Salieri, providing the story's main narrative.
While working as a cab driver in fictional Lost Heaven in 1930, Tommy picks up two mobsters, Sam and Paulie, who force him to help them lose two mobsters working for Salieri's rival, Don Morello. After losing them and delivering the two to their boss' place, Tommy is rewarded a large amount of money. The next day, while taking a break, Tommy is attacked by the thugs he helped Sam and Paulie escape from. Though he is saved by Salieri's men, he subsequently loses his job. Desperate to make money, Tommy falls in with Salieri's crew and gets involved in all his criminal operations.
Over the next 8 years, Tommy does big jobs for the family, such as murdering other gangsters, entering races, stealing, bootlegging (this is during Prohibition), robbing banks, and property destruction. He slowly rises through the ranks as the jobs get bigger. When told to kill Salieri's double-crossing consigliere Frank, Tommy allowed Frank to live and flee to Europe as Frank was forced to sell out Salieri because the police blackmailed him and threatened his family. Another person whom Tommy was told to kill but allowed to live was Michelle, a customer of the Salieri bar. Eventually, the rivalry between Salieri's crew and Morello's crew erupts into a war. Morello's brother, teaming up with Morello against Salieri were killed by Tommy, after several unsuccessful hits. This is where Tommy gets his biggest job: assassinating Don Morello together with Sam and Paulie, ending the feud once and for all. During this time, Tommy falls for and marries Sarah, daughter of Salieri's bar's bartender, Luigi, with whom he eventually has a daughter of his own.
Tommy's story reaches its climax when, in 1938, he and Paulie (whom, along with Sam, he's become close friends with) learn that Salieri's been smuggling diamonds in secret and keeping the profits for himself. Deciding to get back at him, they rob a bank (Sam refuses). Though the heist is successful, Tommy finds Paulie shot dead the next day. Sam calls Tommy and asks that he meet him at an art gallery. There, he learns that Sam ratted him and Paulie out to Salieri, who ordered their whacking. After a shoot-out, Tommy manages to kill Sam and several others. He then flees to Europe with his family, but quickly returns to set up the meeting with Norman.
His story over, Tommy makes his demands: in return for immunity for his past actions and protection, he'll testify against his former comrades. In the trial that ensues, 80 gangsters are tried, most are executed and Salieri gets life in prison. Tommy and his family are put under federal protection and remain safe for 13 years. However, in 1951, his past finally catches up to him as he is shot dead by two men, revealed in Mafia II to be Vito Scaletta and Joe Barbaro, sending Salieri's regards. The game ends with Tommy lamenting in voice-over the mistakes he made, saying that in wanting it all, he eventually lost everything.
Tommy Angelo is the main character in the game. Originally a cab driver, but due to a combination of unpleasant circumstances, he is forced to join the Mafia. Tommy is all in all a nice guy, but a tough childhood and life in the 1930s have changed his moral values a little. Thus, he is capable of doing things that a normal person would not understand, but his conscience sometimes haunts him.
Tommy started out as a taxi driver on the streets of Lost Heaven, which is said to be based on New York or/and Chicago during prohibition. He also may served during the First World War due to his excellent proficiency with a wide variety of firearms. While by his cab on September 30, 1930 two mafia gangsters, later to be his partners Paulie and Sam surprise Tommy and tell him to outrun some rival mobsters chasing them. He soon gets involved with Don Salieri and all his criminal operations. He does jobs like murdering other gangsters, collecting money, entering races, stealing property, bootlegging, robbing banks, and damaging people and or property. He rises through the ranks of the family by using his cunning style to overcome obstacles in the family. Like their consigliere ratting on the family, and skill to do any job. He meets contacts all over the city who give him helpful tips as well as help him out during his missions like mechanics and safe crackers. The Salieri family eventually gets its vendetta so high with the Morello's, a rival family that they break out in war. Morello's brother is killed along with many of his partners and associates and Morello's ruthlessness causes him to lose the war. During all of this he becomes involved with Sarah, the daughter of the bartender of Salieri's Bar, Luigi.
Finally, in the year 1938, Paulie and Tommy finds out that Salieri has been fooling them, secretly smuggling diamonds and keeping all the profits. Frustrated over being fooled on money, Paulie suggests that they rob a bank. Sam refuses but doesn't reveal he'll tell Salieri. Tommy first refuses, but once alone Paulie convinces him and they make up a plan. The heist is successful but the very next day Tommy finds Paulie in his apartment lying dead in a pool of blood. Sam calls Tommy and tells him to meet at an art gallery where it is revealed Salieri has ordered the deaths of Paulie and Tommy after their moonlighting (Sam told about Paulie's suggestion, making it of no difficult to guess who did that bank heist). After a shootout Tommy comes out victorious, killing Sam and several of Salieri's men. He quickly flees to Europe with Sarah and his (never named) daughter, but returns the same year (in the intro of the game) where he set up a meeting with a detective called Norman at a restaurant. During the afternoon Tommy tells his story (and thereby narrates the game piece by piece) and agrees to testify against Salieri if he gets a shorter sentence and receives protection, saying "If these people go to jail, or better up - death row - they won't be able to take revenge on me. At least not as easily if they were free." He then goes into the Witness Protection Program with his wife Sarah and daughter, and after the grand trial - in which more than 80 gangsters are sentenced to electrocution or prison for at least eight years, and Salieri to life. After the war, Tommy and his family are moved to the other side of the country under new names where he takes job as a driver "for a respectable company". On September 25, 1951 he stands outside his house, now 51 years old, watering the grass when a car stops by on the sidewalk (12 years after the start of the trial). Two men (confirmed in Mafia II that they are Vito Scaletta and Joe Barbaro) get out, walk to Tommy and asks "Mr Angelo?". Tommy confusedly answers "Yes?" and the hitman answers "Mr. Salieri send his regards", the other lifting a lupara and shoots him in the chest. As a woman screams and the two men get back into their car and hurry away, Tommy lies on the grass with a big hole in his chest, blood running out, the hose lying next to him. Tommy's last narration as the camera rises from his dead body ends with "I think it's important to keep a balance in things. Yeah, balance, that's the right word. Cause the guy who wants too much risks losing absolutely everything. Of course, the one who wants too little from life, might not get anything at all."
