New Idea – A girl finds that throughout her life she has been able to do things that other kids could not do. When she was a young girl she was able to move objects without touching them. As she got older she got into a fight with one of the girls in school and discovered that she had super strength as well. She secretly practised her skills in forests nearby. When she finally reached twenty she had kept the secret to herself for many years and she met a girl at a club one evening. She and the girl became close friends. The girl has been watching her and documenting her moves since she was a teenager. Jennifer has made a couple of mistakes throughout her life and every time she did, the girl was also always around.
The girl told her about a club she could join that secretly helped gifted individuals like her reach their full potential. Jennifer fell for it and went with her friend to the club. When she got there she was welcomed by a couple of cold stares and a bunch of young people practising martial arts and meditation. They seemed so in tune with themselves and quite wealthy but not very friendly. The vibe was vanity and conceitedness and a lot of competition. Everyone seemed to only look out for themselves. When she met the woman in charge, she was met by a well dressed wealthy woman. She was nice and offered her ice tea. She told Jennifer that she could join the club but had to go through a process first. The process would ultimately make her become a part of the club forever and there was no way to get out. But it would nurture her powers, make her wealthy and popular. She would reach great things and become great in her life. Jennifer agreed to this pact she would make with this club.
The ceremony would take place in a secret place in the mountains in a farm shed. Many would come from all over to participate in the get together of the secret society of the gifted individuals with special powers. Jennifer was excited; she was finally going to be accepted into the club, which by now was called “The Family”. She was taken by a bus with another group of newbie’s who also want to join The Family. They were all very excited to be a part of this new secret society.
When they arrived it seemed as though everyone was in a good mood. The older members stared at the new ones, some looked friendly but others looked cold and distant. They were each given a black cape to wear over their clothes. The other regular members were all dressed in black capes already. Some had black coats with red, others were pure white with gold lines. They seemed like the wealthier and smarter members. The group of newbie’s were led into the front of the barn where everyone took a seat and some stood. Jennifer and the group were called up on stage and each had to present themselves to the crowd of about a thousand members. Jennifer and the other new members had to present their powers to the crowd where everyone cheered them on. Some shook their heads at the weak ones. Others were surprised at Jennifer’s strength and ability to move things.
After their presentation they had to sign a form. A blood pact. They had to cut their hands and let the blood seep into a veil that they would carry around their necks and mark the blood on the papers to seal it. It would be the final step. Jennifer saw out of the corner of her eye a man change into a wolf and another set of men as well. They were the people that did not wear a cape, but only black clothes. They seemed cold and distant. Didn’t say a word to anyone but just stared at the people. People looked afraid of them. Jennifer was shocked when she saw the men change shape, but she took it as another set of powers that she does not know about yet.
After each individual signed the blood pact, they were each assigned to a new protector. A demon that would watch over each of them. The demons seemed friendly but didn’t talk much at all. They were ugly and had ugly laughs. When the ceremony was finally done, the new members had to go sit on the first row. The ceremony would continue. Glasses of wine and drugs were passed by each of the members and some people took and others didn’t. Jennifer took and soon felt cheerful and hallucinogenic. after the little bit of socializing the next ceremony began. From the back of the shed Jennifer could hear screams coming from a baby. As they came forward she saw two men in white capes hold the baby wrapped up in white cloth. They took out a wooded cross and hung the baby upside down on it before splitting it open with a knife. The blood was then leaked into a jug and poured into glasses and then passed around to drink. A few new members was shocked and retreated by trying to escape. But the men that turned into wolves tore them apart which kept Jennifer and the rest of the new members still for the rest of the ceremony. The people drank the blood of the newborns and chanted. Jennifer was intoxicated and completely in shock. She only now realised the significance of her pact she had just made.
Jennifer was given a new room with a luxury bedroom and living room. She was now a member of the society. She got nice food and nice clothing to wear. Still wary after the last incident, Jennifer didn’t really know how to handle the situation. She was always accompanied by her demon. She had to attend classes that would work on her object moving skill. Also mind reading and Fight club which would practise her skills. She also could choose between dancing or other hobbies. Jennifer chose belly dancing. She was too terrified to really talk about the things that took place on the ceremony, still trying to grasp whether it was real after she took that hallucinogen drug.
Jennifer decided to gather some information from the other members and the older ones. They were reserved and didn’t really want to talk about anything. She found herself lost in the constant activities she had to attend. She learnt a lot of new skills and became wealthy, performing for men and other crowds. There were small ceremonies performed for the community where each individual would compete in a competition. The strongest one would take the winning title home and would be recognised in the society as the top sister/brother.
Jennifer was able to turn a rabbit into a cat, of course which after the animal died. She was able to shield herself from fire. Pick up a truck by the only force of her stare. And the toughest challenge which many continued to fail, Jennifer seemed to have passed. She had to stop a falling truck in the air before it fell on her. Some died during the competition, other felt they were not strong enough to continue further and proudly didn’t take part in certain competition. Jennifer was crowned the strongest sister and obtained a position above the other new members. In only a short few months Jennifer was above the others and that contributed to jealousy and hatred upon her. But she was in the superior position and started wearing a white cape. The others that made it halfway through the competition without dying wore the black and red coats representing the inferior but stronger members. Only the strongest could wear white.
Jennifer felt strong and practised daily. She felt good about herself and had already forgotten what had taken place on the first evening of her ceremony. Her demon attended her everywhere but never spoke a word. Some of the less strong members tried attacking Jennifer at some point but always failed because her demon killed them instantly, so nobody ever messed with Jennifer.
Finally it was another ceremony which Jennifer would attend as a special guest. Only twelve brothers/sisters can be the strongest members. 6 sisters and 6 brothers selected specially by the higher and more powerful Family. Jennifer dressed in white and wore her white cape with golden stripes. She saw the newest members coming in with their black capes as she sat on the stage on the golden chair. There were twelve and the twelve brothers and sisters sat on it. Only two of the more powerful members attended this year, sitting on their golden chairs above the brothers and sisters. This was a ceremony especially for the initiating process of the new brothers and sister who now possess a superior position over the rest of the society. They are seen as the most feared and powerful, except for those above them which run the society.
Jennifer was enjoying the ceremony as everyone cheerfully chattered and talked on. The brothers and sisters were invited to show of some of their skills and powers before the party started while the crowd cheered them on. Jennifer belly danced before she proved her most powerful power by moving people around. Jugs full of hallucinogenic drugs were passed on in the crowd as well as between the brothers and sisters. Jennifer concluded that it must be the way they will celebrate the evening. After the drugs had started kicking in she heard the scream of a baby. This reminded her once again of that first evening. She saw as two men carried a baby to the front and hung him on a cross. Jennifer and her co partner was invited to the front. Jennifer hesitated but did not dare disobey. She wasn’t seeing things straight because she was intoxicated. In a blurry fusion she came up to the child screaming. She looked at her co partner and momentarily stood there in disbelief. Two large demons appeared next to them. They were handed a knife. Jennifer looked at the screaming child and didn’t want to obey. The demon behind her thrust his claws into her back, Jennifer shrieked in pain and looked around disorientated then looked at her partner/sister. She had no sense of feeling on her face but looked at Jennifer with a fierce look and said ‘do it’. Jennifer picked up the knife after fearing another painful strike from the demon and closed her eyes while she strikes at the child’s body. The blood sprayed onto her clothing and seeped into the bucket underneath the baby. While the babies silent shrieks silenced. The crowd was cheering in loud screams of joy. Jennifer puked immediately and then was taken to her chair again. She was forced to drink some of the babies’ blood. The babies’ blood was believed to make them stronger because a baby is pure and innocent. The rest of the babies’ blood was given to the crowd. She sat through the other eleven baby sacrifices that the other superior brothers and sisters had to do. She was heavily under drugs which made the experience worse.
She woke the next morning next to two men in her bed. She still felt horrified by what she had seen, but knew that getting out of there wasn’t going to be so easy. The demons were watching her every move and the rest of the society too. The marks of the demons scratches remained on her back for a long time. A sign of her punishment for disobeying the rules. She felt powerless even though she was the most powerful.
She went to see the higher power. The wealthy women told her that she now had a duty and that was to be a good example to the other members and serve the universe by ridding of the weaker and contributing to the world with her unique talents. Jennifer felt sick to her stomach. She was then told she had to attend another ceremony in the next month where a mother and her child would be sacrificed. She was told that she had to help in finding the next victim.
She kept her plans to herself but planned silently. One evening she packed her bags and climbed in the car. She left in a hurry. She was terrified of attending the next ceremony. Her demon assisted her but got angrier the farther away she went.
Finally when she reached a hotel, the demon attacked her. She fought him with her power and commanded him to leave her and so he did. The demon went and told on her. When Jennifer awoke she dressed and left the hotel. On her way she was driving through a deserted road with lots of farms on the sides. A large wolf jumped out the side and in front of the car. Jennifer knew that the wolves were very strong and her car power died. She jumped out the car and started running. The wolf came after her and she tried fighting him of with her own power but he over powered her and took her back to the society. When Jennifer arrived there she was put in a jail. She was beaten and bitten by demons. The other members didn’t challenge her for they knew her strength but some demons were stronger than her and the higher family punished her. She was raped by several of the higher men.
She was kept in the jail cell for eight months before her child was born. She prayed silently, knowing that her day has come. She shed a small amount of tears, before asking God for forgiveness. She felt peace at once before she was taken in a van to the ceremony. She said “dear God, today me and my child will join You, forgive me for what I was. I am sorry for what I have done in my life. If you cannot take me, please just make sure my child goes to a better place. I am sorry”. She was taken in only a red coat to the front where the crowd was chanting and screaming. She was tied to a cross. First they cut open her stomach and took out her child before killing the baby girl in front of her eyes while she was still alive. And then cutting open her neck and letting her blood seep out of her body while the crowd went mad. The end.
