The movie opens to huge white letters i front of a black background "1953". then to a lone mansion surrounded by wilderness. inside the home is a Jewish family. the mum, dad, 18 year old son, two twin daughters aged 14 and the dog. as the film progresses the audience is told their story. their story of how Britain was taken by the Nazi's. The family own their own farm and crop and there is nothing about for miles, meaning the perfect hiding spot. But over the next few days, the oldest son notices two things, an easy-jet aeroplane above his home and a mobile phone beacon in the far distance. His father has decent explanations for both items before 3 hikers come across their land. The father manipulates the son to aid him in attacking the hikers and bury them before the other "Nazi's" find them. upon the actual burial the son empties the hikers pockets and finds a mobile phone, and a picture of his family and a map of the area. he hides this from his father and follows the map on night to a road. upon doing so he find himself inside a roadside mcdonalds where he meets a young girl who explains the "real" world to him over a cup of coffee i which she obviously pays for. however on his journey home he realises the hikers he killed were innocent and he took someone away from their family. he confronts his parents over the matter where violence breaks out when the son threatens to tell the sisters. the father beats him to death before burying him in the woods. when the girls ask where he has gone the mother replies "to look for a new home"
