After the fall of civilization, religion rose to power on account of having prophesized the entire event. The religious scientists have invented a device that prevents aging, disease, and death, but at the cost of propelling the users into a place that the people call “Hell”. With total control over the majority of the surviving people, the leaders force the people to make a choice: believe, or be cast into eternal separation, Hell.
