College student Lynn Tapper was not a special person to anyone, not her classmates, family, friends, or professors. Except one; the mysterious theology professor Dr. Simon Cale. One eventful day she is gagged, bound, and dragged to the deep end of the swimming team’s pool, where she is about to be thrown into. Then the professor comes into the scene, sending the bullies away. After that, they seem to be the best of friends. When rumors start spreading about romance between the two, she keeps distant, researching him for traces of disturbing history. What she found was not expected. He is a primary field member of one of the most dangerous cults in the United States and many other countries. With this disturbing discovery and enormous feeling of betrayal and fear, she runs away; with Dr. Cale after her at almost every place. It gets harder when every time she runs to any form of justice, he’s there, telling them she is a runaway drug addict. But almost impossible when with her parents story and his story, they call out special forces. That means helicopters, guns, and bullet-proof vests. Then one day while hiding in a hotel, she’s caught and taken back to his house, where the situation is explained. As a primary field agent, he was sent to take her and tell her that she is an important part in the cult, where the ideas, theories, and values for the god came from her distant ancestor; Abigail Fearius. Not believing it, she is forced to go with him back to the congregation, but before they reach there, she bolts, and accidentally manages to stumble upon an abandoned part of the underground place of worship; where an epic chase ensues. Statues, old bricks, plastic wraps, and rusty metals litter the place as obstacles in their way to get to the other exit. He eventually grabs her, and locks her arms behind her back, giving a rational deal; if she felt something in the first two days their, she would stay. If she didn’t, he would go with her to the police. She reluctantly agrees. The ending is her staring up at the about 5-story statue of the god everyone in that place worshipped. She stays, and seems to have a happy life when an old enemy from the past rises up with lethal intent. That would leave to an optional sequel.
Here's the idea.. We have a survivor series, and we have an apprentice series...So let's mix the two of them together...And have a Monopoly Series.
It's Wall street meets REALITY.
Underneathe the the apprenticeship of a very wealthy buisness man, or woman. Contestants have the over all authority to spend their beginning bank roll salary to invest. And either topple...or make boo-koo's of more money. Eventually working their way to the top. But what if it was all at the roll of a dice? Because that's just how Monopoly is played anyhow. It's all a gamble. What you do, is not really put anything at risk. But make it a game for the contestants. Everything behind the scenes is set up between the show...But the contestants do not know this. And never will. As they either go bankrupt>broke...or make their way to the top of their game.
Either that or you let them roll their selves to rags or riches with say a couple hundred grand starting cash, or even less.
TV series or FEATURE FILM
Jack Sledge is a undercover cop, he usually works the streets of the city alone. He will do whatever it takes to get the bad guys. Even if he's got to do some pretty crazy things. He's always on another mission, doing another stake-out, or going undercover to bring down some drug dealers, gang members or who ever he's up against. And that is the show/movie. He goes undercover.
Jack could work for Boston PD, NYPD, LAPD, it doesn't really matter. It would even be cool to see him transfer from place to place. He's not your typical cop. And he may not even be the most serious one. But he likes what he does.
He's always trying to get women, that could be another philosophy or hobby of his. Perhaps he's been married once, but that didn't work out so well, even though his ex is always showing up somewhere.
Some of these cop shows nowadays aren't really all that interesting in my opinion, we need something fun and hip. Something with humor and a cool mysteriousness to it. Make that person be Jack Sledge. "UNDERCOVER"...
