A married women with a 18 year old married daughter from a different marriage is having an affair. The police get a 911 call from her but the call is abruptly ended. The police go to her house to find only her husband passed out on the couch apparently drunk because of his slurred talk. They find blood on a knife, on the floor and in the trunk of his car. It turns out to be the wife's blood. The body is never found but he is still found guilty of murder. A lot of this movie would have to do with prison life. 22 years later he is released on parole. A year latter there is a knock on the door. It is a tired out drug using prostitute. It is his step-daughter. She tells him the truth. Her mother faked her murder to run away with her lover and split the life insurance with her daughter. She had drugged him and planted the evidence. She had established a new identity and was living in Oregon. The mother screwed the daughter out of her share so she decided to tell her step-dad. The man goes to Oregon and finds his wife. He watches her every move. One day while she was having lunch in a restaurant he walks in and sits next to her. She tries in vain to explain why she did it. He says, “I forgive you. I forgive you just as soon as you are dead,” then a shot rings out and she falls over dead. When the police show up he says, “Not much you can do. I already served my time for killing her.”
