Richie Robinson is a 16 year old kid from Chicago, Illinois. His mother Sandra is a widowed mother of 4 her son Richie, his younger brother Ray and his two little sisters, Maggie and Kate. She works 2 jobs to pay all the bills, one in the daytime as a custodian for a museum...and one at night. Robbing banks. After being fired for being accused of theft. Which makes her angry, and desperate to find another job soon, so that she can pay all the bills.
She just started the second job(ROBBING BANKS) over a month ago, but since then, she's been acting strangely, her nerves are on edge all the time. Yet she no longer talks about the worries for money. Richie is suspicious and finds out that his mother is'nt actually working two jobs at all. But she has became a criminal to give her children a better life. Richie's father died 4 years ago and Sandra would constantly just start bursting into tears out of nowhere.
Richie was her comforter, but now he's got to pull her back on the right track before she gets put behind bars for the rest of her life. It's a dramatic tell, of what can happen when things seem unmanageable. But it comes out with a good ending. Even though Sandra is caught by a detective in the end, after following her and her family to Mexico, which was their getaway plan.
He decides to let her go. Because he knows what it's like to have a single mother and how hard things can be.
Letting her keep just enough money to live on...and returning the rest, making up a story that his man....got away.-The End
