When a fresh college graduate can't find a job a down economy he takes a long haul truck driving job out of desperation. He thinks that it will be a good way to pay the bills, while seeing the country and waiting for the job market to improve. As part of his training he has to spend several weeks team driving with a more experienced driver to get a feel for life on the road. When he meets the driver he realizes that he might have made a mistake. The man he is paired with is his opposite in every way. They don't agree on politics, food, music or anything else. Through a series of truck stop situations, and rude shippers they slowly become friends. This is loosely based on a true story.
