A fun,charming,funny,and sweet animated adventure.A young dog named Mata has lived a sweet,pampered life in a big mansion.However,when his owners decide to leave,Mata is left behind.Because of his pampered life,the fun-loving pooch doesn't no how to survive on the streets.The only thing he does know is how to dance.When he reaches a certain part of town,he meets Baxter,a dim-witted tom cat,Dakota,a very sloppy German Shepard,DD,a hip-hopping rapper chow chow,Leroy,a very intelligent yellow lab dog,Tigger,a very jumpy Chihauhau,Scout,a very sneaky Rat Terrier,and Muffin,a black and white she-cat.Mata is then introduced to the main she dog,Ariel,who wears a gray tank top with cowboy boots and plays the guitar.They teach Mata how to survive on the streets and soon,become good friends.Ariel says their hangout was a old hair salon,but now it's where she and DD perform in front of a crowd sometimes.She says Mata is a great dancer and asks if he'd show them his skills.he accepts and draws a crowd to watch. Soon,a coyote named Benny says that Mata and his friends have to pay Barker,a German Shepard,bones if they don't want to be attacked by his angels.Mata,however,tricks Barker into letting him and his friends go.One night,after a huge party,Mata leaves and meets Sheba,a beautiful blonde female dog.Mata instantly falls in love with her,and tries to woo her unsucessfully.She says she'll be performing at the Iron Cafe tommorrow and asks if he'd like to come see her.He agrees and says he won't let her down.When he tells the gang,Muffin says she's not going,but Baxter,Dakota,DD,Leroy,Tigger,and Scout want to go with Mata,too.They drag Muffin with them too.When they go to the cafe the next day,they watch Sheba sing "Circus" with her back-up singers.Mata steps on stage and dances with her,but he is dragged off stage by Barker's angels.He says that Mata crossed the line by dancing with Sheba,and threatens to "tear him up and send him home to his humans in a plastic bag".After hearing this,Mata replies that his humans left him.Barker then tells him to leave and never go near Sheba again.Then,Scout tells Mata that Sheba asked him to a date near the Taco' clock place.Mata agrees fearfully,and remembers what Barker told him.Will he keep the girl or lose her to Barker?
