Every fairy tale ends in a happy ever after, the heroine falling in love with the hero. For Princess Helena this is just another of those stories. But she doesn't want it to be that way. She knows how life goes in the kingdom of Dashuri The women meet a man, falling head over heels in love when they do so and getting married the very next day. Now Helena is fast approaching her 18th birthday, her parents, the King and Queen of Dashuri are planning a ball where all the Princes of the surrounding Kingdoms are invited so that the Princess can meet the man of her dreams. Not wanting to be condemned to be living her life like everyone else with no choice who she falls in love with Helena refuses to attend and rebels against her parents by leaving the castle and going in search of what true love really is.
