| The Foreshadowing Stranger |
The Foreshadowing Stranger is a movie about four men who happen to be the best killers in the world. When there is the dirtiest and toughest jobs needed, “The Boss” calls upon these four. The men have been together since childhood and never work with anyone else. One day before a big family party the men get an order from “The Boss”. The men think this order is a rather peculiar job for them. Without question and doubt they take the job and begin to make plans. They go to their usual restaurant for lunch. The men joke around with each for awhile and discuss the party and the order. After a little discussion, a man, who none of them know pulls up a chair and joins them at their table. It’s important to note that when the four men looked upon the stranger, each one of them saw a different looking person. For example the leader of the group saw an old man dressed in a white suit, while the only African American guy of the group saw an African American guy. The two men who were sitting at the table told the stranger he was at the wrong table but he simply replied with telling them he would wait for the others to return. The stranger knew all four of the men names and waited for two of the men to return from the bathroom. When they did he said with hesitation, “Now I can say what I have been sent to say.” By whom the men ask but the stranger continues, “I have been sent to warn you not to kill that family tonight.” The men are shocked that this stranger knew about their assignment. Upon further discussion the stranger reveals to the men that he is the “God’s Hitman”, the angel of death. He is not Death himself; he is an angel who does the dirty work. He goes on to explain to them that God has had enough of their evil, they have done too much wrong and he is here to take care of it. But tells them if they do not kill their target tonight then they are free, he will forgive them if they leave the family alone tonight. The men obviously don’t believe him and mock him. The stranger continues to warn them and offers them this one chance to repent. None of them accept. The stranger makes another offer, he explains he has been doing this for far too long and has become very bored with the easiness. So he makes the offer of giving them a sporting chance. He tells them that if they want he will not use his “special abilities” to kill them. Instead he will fight as a human and they may win their right to live. Otherwise, he will use his God given abilities to hunt them. Two men make a joke of the whole matter and accept to fight him with his full abilities while the other two wish to fight as a human. The stranger explains to them he will come for them one at a time and once every 24 hours. He then bids them farewell and leaves the restaurant. The men half joke about the matter but are half worried about the strangeness of the whole meeting. To speed this up, the four men try to go through with the hit on the family but before they can do it the stranger appears out of mid-air and stops them from doing any harm. He kills one of the men who wanted to fight him against his “special abilities” with such ease and amazement that the other three men are scared to death. Upon seeing this spectacle the three men make a run for it. The rest of the movie consists of the chase of the three men trying to survive against this godly figure.
