In the land of Kydon, King Leofricks army are out on patrol and stumble across a village of savage barbarians that are wanted in these lands, with know hesitation Sir Ivar Sabreheart orders the troops to attack and kill every Barbarian in site. After the attack Ivar discovers one survivor of the village, a young boy no older then two. He decides to spare the childs life and returns to Riabeth with the young barbarian to raise him as his own.
20 years later Kol Sabreheart returns to the Kingdom of Riabeth after a quest to slay a fowl beast which has been slaughtering villagers who lived on the outskirts of the Kingdom, He makes his return with two warriors Odion Mason and Oliver the Brute. That night they are properly welcomed back with a celebratory feast which is hosted by the King himself , here he is reunited with his wife Christabel and closest friend Prince Isacc and notice a strange difference in them. Christabel and Issac have found love with each other one much stronger then hers and Kols, but is a secret to everyone. Issac tries to approach Kol in private to talk about something that he has learn from his father, but Kol insists that they talk at the tavern in the mourning due to him wanting to spend a night with his wife.
The next mourning Kol meets Issac at the tavern which is owned by Christabel's brother Ullric which has a reputation as a thief, here Issac explains to Kol that Ivar is not his real father and that his mother and father are infact Barbarians. Learning this new information Kol sets out on a quest with Odion, Oliver and Isacc to find his family and discover why they had abandoned him.
Along there adventure they come face to face with dangers like no other. Kol and his companions are ambushed at the foot of Mount Phenon by a gang of night elves, out numbered it seems all is lost when one by one the night elves are picked off, Kol and the companions are confused of what just happened when Christabel arises. They set up camp for the night, Kol wakes from his sleep to find Isaac bedding Christabel, Kol waits for them to sleep and leaves with Odion and Oliver.
Two days later Kol makes it to the Barbarians Kingdom to find the truth about his parents, learning this a unthinkable evil takes over his body as he draws his blade and kills Oliver. Kol turns to Odion and tells him to return to the Riabeth and tell the King that Kol vows revenge on the Kingdom.
As weeks pass Kol has raised a army of barbarians and elves which have been destroying villages of the Kingdom killing innocents by the thousands leaving but a trail of destruction. The King orders all of the kingdom to retreat behind Riabeths walls.
Kol finally makes it to Riabeth, being a former warrior he knows the best points to attack. The battle begins and thousands of people are killed, building there way up the the palace through the village he confronts Christabel, when she strikes him with a dagger he stabs her through the chest leaving her for dead which truly shows that there is no good left in Kol, Ullric witnesses his sisters murder and stalks Kol to the palace.
Kol finds Ivar and King Leofrick in the throne room which results in Kol slaying both of them. Prince Issac tries to stop Kol but is seriously injured by him just as Kol is about to end the Issacs life he is struck by three arrows in the chest fired by Ullric, Kol stumbles towards the balcony Ullric runs towards him and strikes knocking Kol off. Ullric helps Issac up and they walk out on the balcony to see there city in ruins and the Barbarians leaving. Issac calls all the survivors to the palace and presents himself the new King of Riabeth, Issac and Ullric start planning a way to repair the kingdom.
Three weeks later Kol awakes to find himself in the Barbarian Kingdom where he is told of the success of the attack. He presents himself in front of the Warriors and says “Our victory at Riabeth was only the beginning! Now we make Kydon Ours!”.
